Keeping a daily log of what I am doing with my life. I have not made very much traction, so maybe by tracking what I do on a daily basis, I can find what I have been doing right and do more, and what I have been doing wrong, and doing less.

I took an Information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) course. The one thing that I remember most from the course, since I took the course to better myself, although the course was for Information Technology (IT) guideline and best practices in how to better an organization. I figured, if the guidelines and practices are good enough to better a whole organization, why could I not implement the guidelines and practices on myself, to better myself. 😉

So now I measure everything in my life. Since I only have a limited amount of time, I am tracking all that I am doing, so I can do more and be more! I guess you can say that I am an economist of my life.

Another day that I am trying to figure out how to get out of this hamster wheel.

I have ideas, but just do not implement. I do not know what or why I am not engaging on my ideas. I do not have much time or money. I need to engage now.

I am reading about Jekyll and Hugo. I want to learn more.

I am getting back on the horse of certification, also Python and Java.

As my Dad used to say, “No better time than the present.” and “Don’t put things off for tomorrow, what you can do today.” I will begin to implement this in my life daily.

I just have to be 1% better daily, and don’t get hung up on unimportant things. Create that point and do not settle until I reach that point.

Got Sushi for dinner.

Sushi

Took a bite of the ginger and felt like I bit on a fishbone. I spat out and found a stapler. 😱

Maybe a stapler to the seaweed/ginger bag.

What luck that I did not swallow and the stapler was not rusty!

I bought a Nothing Ear (Stick) for $61 at Amazon. I liked them so much that I purchased two more, one new $61 and one used for $39.

I tested the first ones I received. Battery life was past six hours before the headsets ran out of power. Right before the battery power was drained and turned off, the headsets were making warning noises that the battery was low and were about to turn off. Recharging took about 1.5 hours to fully charge in the case. Of the six hours, at least one earpiece fell out on each hour for five hours. During that time, I did not shake my head in trying to get the headsets loose, but instead, I ate lunch and smiled and laughed watching television. Maybe the squeezing of my face pushed out the earpiece, as I felt the earpieces slipping out of my ears when I smile.

But overall I like them, as anyone can tell, since I have three of them! 😂

Two versions

I got lucky in getting one of each version!

I am saving up for the Nothing Ear 2 ($149.00 + tax). I want to buy one, as this device can sync to two devices at once. Purchased on June 01, 2024 and should arrive by Thursday.

Update: 06/03/2024
After much research, I came to find out that the Nothing Ear is the latest version of the Ear series, and Ear (2) is an older model. I will return my purchase and purchase the Ear instead. Weird that Nothing would name their new model “Ear” instead of Ear (3). I was able to purchase the Ear (2) for $132.00 after taxes. and seems if I purchase Ear, the total cost after taxes will be $165.00, that is $33 more. I might have to think about this before I make the purchase. No, I will not think about this, I will make the purchase. BUT, this will be my last pair of earset I will purchase.

Just got home. Went out with friends to the local casino for dinner and drinks. I have given up coffee, soda and alcoholic beverage for 2024, and enjoyed the company. Good to get out once in a while.

Now, back to my normal routine (studying )
