I slept for two hours and feel the burn, but the show must go on!
I have a lot to cover and as Budda said, “The thing is, we think we have time.” I have come to the conclusion, I do not have the time. I am racing with time and will lose… I am working on everything that I can to fulfill all I want to have and do in this one in a life chance I have. I do not say “someday” anymore, just work on what I can today. I still plan for the future and make incremental achievement towards my plan. As Anthony Rob stated, “A real decision is measured by the fact that you’ve taken a new action. If there’s no action, you haven’t truly decided.”
I have also decided to minimize everything in my life, I do mean everything! This includes psychological and physical things. I have noticed, the more things I have, the more I have to maintain, and I have also noticed that the things most maintained are the ones that bring me joy, happiness and fulfillment. I believe that when I minimize and become minimalistic, I will not only unclutter my life, but my mind. I do believe that how is a person’s life is on the outside matches what is in the inside. I read an article once where a question stated, if an untidy desk makes an untidy mind, what does an empty desk suggest. I would say, an organized mind.
I hope implementing the Slight Edge framework in my life will assist me in recognizing the daily disciplines of easy to do and easy not to do!
