I bought a Mac Mini Studio ($1999). I was going to get the Mac Mini M2, but Apple stores only carry stock and anything with a different configuration from the stock is considered customized and will have to be ordered. I wanted 32GB of RAM and the M1 Studio had 32GB of RAM and price wise was similar to the Mac Mini M2 Pro with 32 GB and with 12‑core CPU, 19-core GPU, 16‑core Neural Engine. I want to study iOS development and a few other things, so I thought of this as an investment. 😉 Maybe my brain just tricking me. 😀
